The event itself is immersive and multi-sensory.
You’ll encounter:

  • Pop-up and immersive theatre performances throughout the venue

  • Live monologues and short plays on the theme of climate justice, some hopeful, some heart-wrenching, all rooted in activism

  • Art installations, ranging from quiet and contemplative to bold and confrontational

  • QR codes leading to a digital archive of spoken-word monologues and poems, performed by actors from across the globe — voices locked in time, bearing witness and urging change

Every performance, every artwork, every moment in the space is designed to provoke, inspire, and awaken.

And this is more than just an event. It’s a fundraiser for the planet.
For every ticket sold, we plant trees.
Your presence is your impact.

The Crypt has kindly supported this event, and we’re proud to be using this space not just as a stage, but as part of the message itself. If we do not act — now, urgently, together — then we risk losing more than we can imagine.

Why we’re holding this climate event in The Crypt at The Mount Without in Bristol!
We believe a venue is never just a backdrop — it’s the frame around the story, the holding space for what’s being said and felt. That’s why we’re holding our event at The Crypt. This space doesn’t just house our performances — it amplifies them.
The Crypt carries with it an eerie intensity — a sense of stillness and symbolism that resonates deeply with the climate crisis. Its atmosphere evokes the weight of this moment: the urgency of action, the reality of destruction, and the faint but vital possibility of renewal. It holds space for reflection and reckoning. For grief, for hope, and for all that still lies in the balance.
